Caesars Total Rewards Promotions for 2017

CET is doing a promotion next year: if you send them 36 postcards, one for each of their property, they will award you 13500 tier credits

You will only get contest entries with the postcards, not tier credits.

This is not accurate. I checked with the most reliable source I know, Darryl of Seven Stars Insider.

Per Darryl :
This is incorrect. The postcard option simply gives you 36 entries in the drawing at the end of the promotion. It's all spelled out on the Quest For Rewards page of the TR website. Scroll to the bottom where it says Terms and Conditions. Click "here" and go to page 4 or 5 of the .pdf.

To get the bonus tier credits you physically have to visit each of the 36 casinos and earn 25 tier credits in one gaming day at each.

I had read the T&C when they first announced this, and it wasn't very clear. What it comes down to is:

For purposes of determining the number of entries received, the number of Mail-In Entries for an Entrant will be treated as Badges and added to the number of earned Badges (if any). <emphasis mine>
So the postcards are included only in determining the number of drawing entries received, and it is implied they are not included in the tier credit bonuses. They could have made this a lot clearer.

I won't disagree, that it's confusing. I also am the first to admit that I barely paid attention to this promo. When the post was made, it just seemed (to me) like it was inaccurate so I reached out to the one person (I know) who tracks such things very closely, Darryl D. McEwen the Publisher at Seven Stars Insider.

Per Darryl :
We were at Joliet yesterday and didn't ask. We'll be in Vegas in a couple of weeks and won't forget because we'll be doing some Casino skipping lol. But the way I read it you need to earn 25 points at each location? Then when you get to certain levels you get bonuses.

HOW IT WORKS

For each Total Rewards property you visit AND earn 25 Tier Credits at between January 1 and March 31, 2017, you will get an electronic “badge.” The more badges you earn, the more Tier Credit bonuses and drawing entries you receive. Simply visit at least two properties (and earn 25 Tier Credits at each) to qualify for Quest rewards.

TOTAL REWARDS MEMBERS WHO EARN 2 - 18 BADGES WILL GET:
250 additional Tier Credits per badge
One (1) entry per badge in the Quest for Rewards prize drawing.
QUEST BONUS LEVEL! TOTAL REWARDS MEMBERS WHO EARN 19 - 36 BADGES WILL GET:
500 additional Tier Credits per badge
Two (2) entries per badge in the Quest for Rewards prize drawing.

WHAT YOU CAN WIN

AT THE END OF QUEST FOR REWARDS, ELIGIBLE TOTAL REWARDS MEMBERS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ENTERED IN A PRIZE DRAWING FOR ONE OF MORE THAN 60 PRIZES THAT INCLUDE:
50 Total Rewards status upgrades to Diamond level (through January 31, 2018) or 10,000 Reward Credits.
10 awards of 100,000 Reward Credits each.
Grand prize – a Total Rewards status upgrade to Seven Stars level (through January 31, 2018) or 1 million Reward Credits.

I wouldn't go to 36 casinos just to get extra entries.
To qualify for the promo you only need 2 locales (AC and LAS, say).
The number of prizes they offer is IMHO small relative to the effort to go to get them.
Several years ago they had a "visit lots of venues" promo, but you got RCs upfront.
PS: You have just two months to do it all.

Yup, NRR. There isn't any incentive to travel to get these tier credits, but I think if you're attempting to tier up and are in or near AC or Vegas, then it's a must grab. Every year there's a post about someone being short credits. The other side of that is this may not help as they may not give tier credit gifts out because of this promo. But who knows. I'm in AC Jan 6 & 7, plus I'm near Harrah's Philly, so I'll probably get some by default. Not going out of my way if the session sucks, though.

Nine properties in Vegas = 2250 tier credits for a little casino hopping in an afternoon. I'll take it!

I won't go out of my way to add to my list of properties visited, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth either.

Will these tier credits help you get more offers for rooms? or does just real play help with that?

Nope, only play gets you offers.

Horseshoe Baltimore has their own tier credit promotion which doesn't require any play (but if you go that route you will likely destroy your ADT as I'm assuming this generates a trip). Probably not worth much effort to get these but if you were going there anyway, it's a little something.

EARN UP TO 1,125 TIER CREDITS
JANUARY 1 - MARCH 31, 2017
6AM - 5:59AM
PROMOTIONAL KIOSKS

Simply swipe your Total RewardsŪ card each day to receive a 25 Tier Credit bonus. You can swipe up to 15 times for a total of 375 Tier Credits per month

That's a pretty good promotion, if you're a local. I actually rather like many of their promos, and have tagged my local in tweets about them. I know people say they suck overall, but this promo and the football one with the RC multiplier are pretty cool.

Does anyone know if you can visit several of the Las Vegas casinos in one day and earn 25 credits from each casino and earn a badge from each casino you visit that day.
