Borgata Slot dollar question
 

When using slot dollars does that earn comp dollars or contribute to one's adt?

I believe I read somewhere that it didn't count for them, but I'm not 100% sure. I've heard there are some CET properties that let you earn tier credits with free play, but overall most places won't let freeplay help you to the next tier. As far as ADT, I haven't a clue. I would think not if you're not earning points with it, but if you use that and lower your bankroll or play, then yes it will affect your ADT.

Thanks for the reply. I ask because I wanted to see what was better. To use free play as part of my normal play or use it for a few pulls on high limit and take a chance.

I guess since it doesn't count it's better to use their money for higher stakes?

In my opinion, downloading $100 in free slot play substitutes for $100 I would otherwise have taken out of my own pocket to put into the machine. Viewed from that perspective, it does not make any sense to play something I wouldn't have played with my own money (assuming there are no restrictions on what machines can be used to play off the free play etc.)

Whether it's "better" for you is entirely up to you of course, it's your money/freeplay :)

At Borgata (as well as CET: Bally's, Caesars and Harrah's ACs) you do NOT earn comp$ (or TC for CET). [In LAS all CET properties earn TC using FP.]
The other question: does it count into ADT? [they do have internal operations counting lots of things; i.e. at Borgata, if I stop by to pick-up a free gift (but did NOT gamble, nor even put my card in a slot machine), on www.borgata.com it shows info for my "last trip" as $0 comp, $0 slot dollars.
