Should you gamble mostly at the property at which your staying?
 

In Vegas, for the purpose of getting comps, should you focus the majority of your gambling at the specific property at which you are staying, or is it just the same to go to other properties as long as they are in the same network?

For example, if you are staying at Caesar's Palace, would you earn more comps by doing 100% of your gambling at Caesar's, or would gambling 50% at Caesar's and 50% at Planet Hollywood be the same since Caesar's and PH are both part of CET/TR?

Years ago, it did matter.

If you gambled at different Harrah's properties, it created another "trip" and your daily average/theo went down and hence your future offers/mailings went down too.

My host told me that they changed that and Las Vegas is considered one "market," so it doesn't matter whether you gamble at one or more Harrah's properties when you are here.

I still like to concentrate gambling at one property.

CET doesn't care. For Mlife properties, it's apparently better to concentrate your play at one property.

I'm a 7*, and LV and AC markets the entire market is considered for your offers. In other words, you can stay at Paris and play at PH, stay at Bally's AC and play Caesars AC, etc.

Regarding LV market, for lower ADT players, there will be a premium for staying at Caesars or Paris. Some room offers wil exclude those two properties for those level players or give a (non-comped) rate.

Do very little with MLife. MGM's culture is just too arrogant for my taste.
