Buffet Discounts with MLife / TR?
Hi all,
I've got a trip to Vegas coming up and was considering signing up for MLife and/or Total Rewards since they're free. I know basic members (MLife Sapphire and TR Gold) don't get line passes, but do they get restaurant / buffet discounts, and if so, how much? Also, would that discount apply to everyone in the party (i.e. if my wife were with me) or just the cardholder?

Most Total Rewards owned restaurants (including buffets) have discounts for TR members. It's typically $1 per entree. Nothing to write home about, but makes it worth signing up. It applies for everyone on the bill.

mlife = no discount
TR = discount at buffets and some restaurants, but it's nominal - not more than $1-$2 usually. Sometimes get coupons for higher discounts in mailers.
