MLife Points Expiration coming up - non gaming options?

HI - thanks to AwardWallet, got a notice that my accumulated MLife credits will expire in October - I have a visit planned in November and no MLife casinos near me to drop by.

A while ago, this was about to happen to my Total Rewards account, and I remember ordering something through their shopping portal, but haven't found something similar for MLIfe.

Ideas?

Are you referring to Tier Credit or Express Comps? Tier Credit expires every October, while Express Comps expire 12 months after your most recent play. Not sure how you will be able to extend the expiry date for the Express Comps, unless you have a friend who will be at an mLife property and does one spin on the slot machine for you using your card.

Express comps - thats not a bad idea - there's an MGM property opening soon near DC (like a year or so away - to not soon enough for me) that I want to be able to maintain a running balance for. Its not so much built up that its worth going crazy over, just wondering if anyone knew any tips.

Your MLife tier for the next 12 months is established at the end of business on Sept 30, and everybody's Tier Credits reset to zero. If you find yourself a small amount of tier credits short of advancing to the next tier, it is possible to earn tier credits through partners like Hyatt. See the Partners page on the MLife web site for details.

Express Comps and PointPlay (slot credits) expire 12 months after you last earned any. The only way to extend them is to earn some at an MGM property that's part of MLife.

Total Rewards Reward Credits expire 6 months after you last earned one. As you mentioned, the easiest non-gaming way to extend those is to make a small purchase at a retailer like Walmart by going through the Total Rewards Marketplace portal. Although I believe you can also earn RCs by playing their Facebook-based games, which I think require you to buy credits to play.
