check out the front page of Seven Stars Insider for Atlantis reports
Generally, it is probably much less expensive to just Travel to Vegas instead of atlantis offer where (i think i read) Diamond's still need to pay resort fees there.

I have had the status through founderscard for 7 years. The DIAMOND upgrade is worth it as you can normally get a room comped for up to 5 days in my experience even during high traffic times. We go for 4th of July and Memorial day. At most, only pay for the Saturday stay but ZERO resort fees. Vegas normally runs us $150-200 total for rooms with diamond upgrade for 5-6 days staying in the middle of the strip. All the hotels (Love Flamingo. We are a mid 30's couple and enjoy the pool and location) Great atmosphere and very upgraded rooms and interiors...

As for Atlantis, we paid resort fees and tax. It cost roughly $618 for the stay. Much cheaper than booking the room outside of the card benefits and on our own. Had zero issues bookijng/using benefits and actually made money at Atlantis with the free play, and enjoyed the other free perks.

Just my experience and 2 cents. Very happy.

Here is a 495 annual rate but you get a 200 AMEX gift card so total = 295

Not a referral. I am just on the email list for promos.

Just one 5 night visit to Vegas more then pays for it IMO.

Business Insider Discount Code: fcinsider18
This gives you $200 off the $595 membership fee AND waives the one-time $95 initiation fee.
An excellent deal to take advantage of!

I've noticed Dec 2018 is quite open with COMP nights at TR hotels in Vegas. Also with Diamond and no resort fees, it really a FREE night with zero out of pocket.

Is getting COMP nights a regular thing for being Diamond? Also, does it only happen at the end of the year?

Comp night availability varies by property. The lower end ones (Rio, Bally, Harrahs, LINQ, Flamingo) are typically $0 on most days.. obviously weekdays are more likely to be $0 than weekends.
The mid level ones (Paris, PHo) vary.. and Caesars/Cromwell are rare. You have to book way in advance. Forget about NOBU Comp unless you are gambling a lot... but if you are gambling and not just freeloading off Founders Card, then this is all moot.

Mirrors my experience as well.

While I've found Caesars comps mid-week (Wed/Thu), they've always been close in and rarely in advance.

Also will say I had a comp night at Harrah's last week and was pleasantly surprised by the room. Clean, freshly renovated, and my hotel room reminded me of an upscale Sheraton. The downsides were the shower (no door) and the lobby/casino (noticeably downmarket compared to the higher end TR properties). In my case, I walked to where I wanted to eat and hang out and only used the room to sleep so no issues on my side and would not hesitate to book again if that was the only comp option on the dates I needed.

It will vary based on play but as a low roller Diamond from founderscard originally , I get about 90% comp rooms throughout the year up to 5 nights at a time at most properties. The Cromwell seems to be one that gives me least comps. Never stayed there as not a fan of their casino layout and the dining options. I stick to PH/Paris and CP. I also Have been visiting Vegas or Caesars Property 3-4 times yearly for the past 2-3years in a row.. and more then likely going back in November to Vegas.
Without comps, I wouldn't go more then 1 time per year. So comps do work to get players coming back....and the Diamond benefits are nice too.
As for booking.. never had any issues booking comp rooms a few weeks out. or few months out.

Just a few weeks ago my flight was delayed leaving Vegas...Instead of being stuck overnight in Texas I opted to stay over 1 more night in Vegas and was lucky enough to have a nice host at Paris hook me up with a comp room that night .. before the host got involved Paris wanted 129 "discounted" room rate. No doubt if I was not Diamond I wouldn't of gotten the customer service that I got. Saved me some $...... but I also ended up gambling an extra night too. So win win for everyone.

Do FCPoints expire?

I'll have enough for a $500 gift card if I refer two more people to FC, but I'm worried my points might expire before I'm able to do that. I thought I read that they expire after a year or so, but now I can't find it, and my points have definitely sat in my account for more than a year in the past. Obv if anyone wants a referral code/link PM me, but that's not why I'm posting this...

Be aware that if you are using the card to sign up for the Diamond benefit at CET, it will expire Jan 31 2019, with no guarantee it will be extended beyond that date. Steep price to pay for potentially less than two months being a Diamond card holder.

hey folks. i'd like to do this to get diamond status for 2019 - Jan 2020. (or beyond.) ideally, it would be great if i could get the diamond match before Jan 17 since I'm going to Vegas then. (not a big deal though, more important to have it during summer and Jan 2020.) what's my best play given this info? sign up for FC now or wait until 2019?
