Diamond upgrade.
I would just do 1 year and see how often you use Diamond Benefits.
You may endup earning Diamond through normal play and not have any need for continued founder membership.
I used my Diamond benefit 5 different times in the first year thanks to all comp nights at Caesar locations throughout the U.S not just Vegas.

I called Customer service at founderscard and they are telling me that they stopped that in 2017. Can someone please give me some insight on this?

Well being a FC member who also earned Diamond through gambling, I used the benefit last year (From 2017 year, but trip was in Feb 2018). I had stayed in the Beach tower and paid roughly $50 a night for resort fees/taxes. I do understand that the perks have changed however. Now it's just the 4 nights and $100 slot play. The round of golf, drinks, and dolphin experience are now gone. I called them earlier to verify and they looked up status based on my TR #. Can't tell you for sure as I have been requalifying for Diamond through gambling the past 4 years.

The $395 a year with no activation fee has been around for as long as I can remember. At least 4 years ago when I called and got it. Just call them and ask for it. It's that simple, no magic codes required. I even negotiated some additional perks by asking, as long as you are willing to sign up on the spot, they will make it happen.

Best resource in regards to Atlantis is imo
Seven Stars Insider and read up on the trip reports posted.
Atlantis doesn't interest me at all so haven't keep up with the changes if any.

Comp nights and offers will always be better with gambling vs FC. And diamond lounges require 1000 reward credits per person per visit unless you have earned 25k tier in the previous year then you and a guest are free
