Founderscard actual review
I used my Diamond card for the first time in Las Vegas last month. My background: I am Platinum through the TR Visa card, I've never been better than gold by my regular gambling. The resort fees are what finally drove me to look at Founderscard.
I do have a business and made my application to Founderscard for the one year option, since the Caesars benefit is a year to year decision, I will decide next year to renew or not based on what Caesars does. I was approved and in approximately two weeks my Diamond status was reflected in my TR account.
I booked a two day stay at Harrahs Tahoe to receive my new card and use the $100 "celebration dinner" at the Steak House with my wife. Getting the card and the voucher was a snap, and the dinner was great. Saved $46 in resort fees and $100 off of dinner. Not a bad start to my Founderscard. Additionally, we had a light dinner in the Harrahs Diamond lounge on the second day.
Next I booked 5 days comped at Ballys Las Vegas. Saved $145 in resort fees. Arrived at Ballys, valet lot was full except for Diamond/Seven Star card holders.
Diamond check in was a blessing, the lobby was packed and we had our 75 year old mother in law with us. There is a nice lounge area in the Diamond check in to relax while checking in. One other person at the counter and we were offered bottled water walking in the door.
Best Diamond lounges I found were at Flamingo and Caesars, though Caesars was fairly packed.
So far I'm very happy with the Founderscard, I paid $395 and so far have received back, $100 for the dinner at Harrahs, $191 in waived resort fees and we have book another 3 day stay next month in Tahoe saving another $69 in resort fees. We usually visit Tahoe 3 to 4 times a year. We are going back to Vegas again in November for another 5 day comp stay.
You can see the card has more than paid for itself, and I don't have to worry about grinding out any points.
We are not big gamblers, so the Founderscard works out well for us. I would never get anywhere near Diamond on my own but we enjoy visiting the Tahoe area and Las Vegas.
I give it a A+ for myself. Of course YMMV. Thanks and if you have any questions, please ask.

So far I am loving the waived resort fees.
I am already planning trips to Vegas simply because 0.00 resort fees on comp'd nights.
Also, there is a Caesar's casino near me usually 15.00 resort fee but waived again with Diamond and all compd nights.
my referral code is valid until Sept 2nd FCDUSTIN34

I visited the Diamond lounge at the horseshoe casino in southern Indiana.
They had a nice little buffet and free non alcoholic drinks... Sadly you had to pay for any alcohol which was a real downer
I need to get back to vegas to some real diamond lounges, A guy in the lounge said Caesar's palace has the best lounge?

Interesting...
We tried all the Diamond lounges in Vegas last summer & Flamingo is the ONLY one we will NOT return to.
Why? Small, zero ambiance, had to get your own non-alcoholic drinks & food looked like "mystery meat". Unfriendly server as well.
I put Caesars & Paris at top of ambiance.
Harrahs best "real" food--not just snacks/appetizers (CP/Paris/PH LOVE wings--EVERY night...)
Tried Rio one Saturday afternoon--loved the sun shining through the windows. Will try next month for dinner to compare.
PH has no ambiance, snack food but drinks were STRONG STRONG STRONG last month.

Just returned from Atlantis a few days ago. When I called and setup the free room it was quick and easy, no issues making the free reservation and yes it is valid for weekend stays. They said that i would have to paid for a few things like maid service they said the total charge for the 4 days would be around $50. Actually the 4 day stay was right at $100, every day there was a Value Added Tax. The stay was everything I could have hoped for. I was there Thursday through Monday and was very happy. The normal price for the room would have been about $900. Just this stay made the Founder's Card worthwhile and there were no other hidden charges during the stay. It really worked out very well. I recommend this.

$295 x 2 with a waiver of the initiation fee is about the best deal that has been of recent. Sometimes, there is $295x2 and you get a $100 gift card but pay the $95 initiation fee. So, I guess, another $5.
It's been a long time (I can't even recall) where there was a one year deal for $295 (or less).

I am still confused..I know that statuses usually reset in Feb or March of each year ( I have been diamond legitimately in the past) If I sign up for this card today, would it be good until Sept 29 2017? A year from today?
