Golden Nugget Status Match from TR and mLife
Visited GN in AC this past weekend for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised with the casino and property.
They are offering status match from TR and mLife (and other east coast casinos), from mLife gold they give you Chariman status (2nd from top), for TR Diamond the give you Elite (top tier) status.
I used TR to get elite, appears to be valid for 4 months, although it says there is a tier challenge to maintain for next year.

Unfortunately the GN website seems kind of a mess, doesn't appear that logging makes any difference with hotel rates etc, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience getting free or discounted rooms with elite status? Will probably try calling a host if no offers show up.
I mostly player poker, and was also impressed with the poker comps ($2/hr and on Friday evening they were running a double comp promo to $4/hr), also had a promo for $20 food comp at 5 hours of play.
Unfortunately it's a small poker room and doesn't seem to get a lot of action (only 1 cash table going while I was there), although they do seem to get decent traffic for the nightly tournaments that have decent gaurentees.
