TR AC Harrahs ?
I am only a lowly Gold member with TR, but for some reason If I log into my account and book a room for a bachelor party I am planning it is over 40 bucks more with taxes and all than if I dont log in and act like a normal person.
Do you get credit on your TR account when purchasing a room etc ? I am curious and couldnt figure out why ? I know I have all kinds of free comps to Vegas and New Orleans, is there a way to get a better price in Atl City ? Thanks ! |

Sometimes, non-total reward package deals can also be a better price than what is being offered. While Total Rewards is a 'national' program, if you haven't had much play in the Atlantic City markets; you won't get very good rates for AC hotels on the weekend. Another suggestion, is to have a 'companion' Total Rewards member listed on your reservation; if one of the other bachelor party participants is also a Total Rewards member. You 'might' also want to look into a non-casino property in AC such as the Sheraton or Chelsea. |

The AC market is tough (especially for Friday and Saturday nights). You might want to view the award calendar closely; since there is often a variation in prices between the properties.

Yeah problem #1 is none of the guys I am going with gamble much. I am comp'd like I said in Vegas and New Orleans... That being said I have never been to AC before, Even though I live in the DC Metro area, sad I go out west and down south before a 4 hour drive up north LOL. I think the bachelor wants to stay in a casino, which is fine with me. I just thought it was odd ya know. Do you get "credits/points" if you stay under your TR # ? I dont think you do but am just curious. Thanks Again !! |

For entertainment purchases, every $1 ($1.10 in Canada) you spend = 1 Bonus Reward Credit, and your 5th ($5.50 in Canada) dollar becomes a Base Reward Credit, which also counts towards your Tier Score! One final thing you 'might' try, is contacting a host at your preferred property in Atlantic City, explaining you have never played at the AC Total Rewards Properties and see if they can 'offer up' a reduced or comp room rate. The hosts do have the power to issue a better/comp rate; especially for one who hasn't played in that market before. (of course, if your rating the the Vegas/New Orleans markets is not very good; this probably won't get you very far ;) ) |
