(MGM) Mlife vs (Caesars) TR
 

Hi,

I frequent Vegas quite often and am a TR Diamond member for the past 3 years. I was at 75,000, 45,000 and last year only 25,000 tier credit with TR. Does anyone have insight into mlife and know how hard it is to get upgraded to Gold/Platinum vs getting Diamond at TR? Caesars properties are just not appealing to me anymore and am thinking of switching over to MGM. Will MGM give me an automatic upgrade if I show them my Diamond card?

I forgot to mention, I pretty much only play baccarat.

In a 'general sense' MGM-Mirage has treated their mid-level table players better than Harrah's (Caesars).

Per a report at VegasTripping (which seems to have disappeared), it seems that host interaction (and discretion) with regard to table players will be quite similar; even though Mlife is live. Things like express-comps accumulation are reported to be disappointing, for strictly table players (but, once again, most of the 'comping' will still be handled by the hosts, per the report).

Unfortunately, I can't speak personally, with regard to table play @ MGM-Mirage; as I seldom play at their properties.

My suggestion, would be to get a host recommendation from the property you desire to play at (in the MGM-Mirage family); and describe your play (action) to the host; asking what you can expect.
