Frontier Website: Unable to complete booking
 
Hi all,

I've been trying to make a booking on Frontier's website. I go thru the step, put my credit-card in, and hit Buy / Finish (whatever that last button is). It give me that rotating icon (hourglass - types). And after a minute, it seems to timeout and comes back to the homepage.

I checked my credit-card - and there's pending charges. So basically nothing happens.

Tried over the last 24 hours using both Safari and Chrome on MacBook. Anyone experiencing the same behavior? Anything I can fix on my end to make this go thru?

One time my reservation got stuck during payment, no reservation locator generated.

I called to cancel, only to find out I could not use the $300 credit shell..

And no one understand why from Frontier, clearly.

This has happened to me several times, and it was always because there was a problem with the credit card. In my case, it was because my browser auto-populated it and it was missing a digit, but it's possible there was some other kind of error or problem with it. Their website seems to do that when everything isn't just perfect at checkout, so double and triple check everything... I would be willing to bet there's some tiny little thing that's off and their site doesn't know how to handle it.

In my case it has something to do with the voucher. Somehow the vouchers have some kind of conflict and then who knows what happened in their system that entire fund got stuck.

I have the same issue if using the saved credit card.

The site is a disaster. I am trying to book and the website doesn't recognize elite status and charges me for seats which should be free as a 50k elite.

update: completed booking and paid for seats. Called customer service (foreign call center), got past level one after 20 minutes and level two told me they will process a refund for the seats. Not a great experience.

submit complaints to DOT if you have time, hopefully enough people would act on it so Frontier could not get away with behavior.
