Miles Still Expire at 6 Months of No Activity??
Hi fellow Frontier flyers...I just got off the phone with an agent to obtain a refund for a now convoluted trip in early June. TBH, I was just taking it to keep my miles alive, so I asked the agent if Frontier has plans to extend the ridiculous 6 month activity "accrue or lose em" policy on their miles. I was put on hold for ages, and she came back with a big fat NOPE! According to her, F9 still has the rule in place, not even earning hotel stay miles will keep your account intact. She stated other than the Barclays Mastercard (which I do not want), you can "buy" points on Points.com. I told her one does not buy points there, but trades them from other programs... Anyway, does anyone have any other info on the status of our accounts? Six months was pretty laughable when times were good, but now?? I can't believe F9 will keep this boneheaded rule in place, further ticking their "best" customers off. BTW, I have ~40k miles set to expire on June 28, 2020 unless they relax the requirement.

That agent has no freaking clue what they are talking about. I have had hotel stays applied to my account and it pushed out my expiration. I also use Teleflora for Mother's day since they typically have some big bonus on the order.
I had a friend of mine whose miles were going to expire earlier this month and he said that he got this email in March:
Who knows if they plan on pausing for a longer period of time. Even Spirit has paused expiration until the end of September.

YOUR MILES EXPIRATION HAS BEEN PAUSED
We appreciate you flying with us and in consideration of current events, we are pausing the upcoming expiration of your miles. Your miles now will expire at the earliest 5/31/20.

Mine were going to expire in June with no hope of flying F9 by then so I did the 2,000 mile purchase for $50 and got 3,000 total with their bonus offer. The miles posted immediately along with the new expiration date 6 months from now = October. Any kind of activity on the account extends the 6 months.
Spirit miles expire in 3 months if you think Frontier is bad. I can usually fly Frontier every 6 months but Spirit and 3 months is ridiculous so I've given up on them.

A very confusing or misleading email was just received.
The graphic simply says SCHEDULE EXTENSION thru 9/12/21. But text says to use credit vouchers for travel thru then.
did the BOOKING WINDOW just open up till Sept 12 2021? or do our travel credits work until late 2021... if we wait to book until August 2021 for example? Southwest took the later approach.
"Frontier is here to help you fly when you are ready. Your travel credit can be used to book travel now through September 12, 2021! That's more than a year of travel options available now."

An agent told me that our credits aren't extended, just that we can buy tickets until then in case we are concerned about traveling and don't want to travel until next year. But we still have to purchase the flights before the credits expire.

I received the email too, but the expiration date still has not been updated. Don't know if I should wait or do something.

I received this same email but my mileage expiration STILL says 6/14/2020. I wrote to them via the website, but I haven't heard back yet (6 days ago). Anyone hear anything yet? I'm thinking I should just spend the $25 x2 to buy 1000 points for me and my wife (~100,000 miles between the two of us).

I called them and they were saying two different things. They acknowledged the email but also said they couldn't confirm that my miles wouldn't expire....So I ponyed up the $50 for me and my wife.....

Mine are set to expire as well. Does this mean you would have to USE them by 6/28 or FLY by 6/28? Thanks!

I have like 80k set to expire so I'm not sure what I'll do. I have to use a credit that's expiring in the last few days that I'm not excited about using but might as well book something for the future than waste it. I guess I'll figure out miles after I solve that issue.
