MEM-BZN
Hello!
I am looking to book a flight departing 12/31 and returning 1/5. The flight we need because of work obligations on 12/31 is Frontier 0803 departing at 6:20 PM then connecting in DEN on Frontier 0341 arriving in BZN at 11:11. There is more flexibility on the 1/5 return - although we do need to get in before midnight (preferably well before) on 1/5 due to school & work obligations the next day. Could depart from BZN anytime that day. I have watched the fares and they have crept up the last couple of weeks. However, it looks like there are quite a few seats left on the 12/31 leg. Kayak gives something like a 59% chance the fare will go down. Should I wait a few days? I would be okay with booking two one way trips if that might be the best way to go. And any carrier would be okay on the return. If I could get one close to Frontier's fare, I would probably prefer another carrier because of the carry-on fees on Frontier. Oddly, although Kayak, Orbitz, etc. show availability for the 1/5 return on Frontier, the Frontier website shows "Service between Bozeman, MT (BZN) and Memphis, TN (MEM) begins March 03, 2015." I am puzzled by that. Thoughts & advice appreciated!! Thanks!! |
I saw another thread which suggested that the Frontier website does not recognize connecting flights if the layover is more than 4 hours - so that's probably why the return did not show up on the Frontier website.

Welcome to FlyerTalk… since you're inquiring specifically about Frontier matters, your post has been relocated to the dedicated airline forum for better feedback.

Booked Delta
Just wanted to wrap this up by saying that I ended up booking Delta - their fares went down and no charge for carry-on, so ended up being a better deal. Thanks to anyone who may have looked at my post though...
