Frontier to Unveil new livery on Sept 9
 

Guess who? Could go back to the old colours livery scheme?

The Denver Post reports that Frontier will unveil a new livery scheme is on September 9, 2014.

I hope it's as garish and ugly and cheap-looking as this once-proud airline has become...and as far away from the history of Frontier as possible.

You may not get your wish. I believe there is at least a nod to very original Frontier.

I'll miss the different tails if they choose to get rid of those. I'm sure it will say FLYFRONTIER.COM in giant letters though, hell I don't know why they just don't rename the airline that.

I'm told the tails stay and are slightly enlarged - downwards.

And - I'm told - you're wrong about FlyFrontier.com. :)

Someone on a.net posted a picture of a partial look of the new logo, supposedly being put up on a hangar at DEN. The Saul Bass 'F' logo from the 80s is apparently coming back, though in green.

Do you have to pay to look at it?

Was at DIA/DEN Monday night and noticed the Continental finally has come down from the one hanger.. I then saw what looked to be old school FRO on it.. wonder if this has anything to do with it..

Perhaps with the current FL (Airtran) about to become history, Frontier can reclaim their original FL identity along with the logo.

The Southwest photo is of an actual aircraft with the new livery. The Frontier one is an artist's rendering which doesn't show all the detail, such as the name of the animal on the front of the plane.

Didn't and still don't like the paint job on AA. I don't like the new paint job on Frontier or Southwest. But maybe I could get used to them. At least Frontier kept the animals!
