No Premier Check in at DEN?
 

I was at DEN checking in today, and had a Classic Plus fare. Wanted to do a same-day confirmed alternate flight, and saw a line with a green sign that said Ascent, Summit, Classic Plus, and maybe even Classic. Great, I thought, I'll go in that line and get this done. Get to the kiosks and am told that there is no-one there who has access to a terminal. I need to go down to where the bag check line is. OK, so I go down to the bag check line, which is maybe 20 deep, eventually get to a kiosk, and then have to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come over and ask what I need. I say "I would like to do a same-day confirmed alternate flight." Sure, I can do that for you.

What's the point of the "premier" check-in line if you can't get anything done there?

Yeah that sucks, it definately shouldn't be that way. In Orlando the Premium Line worked like a charm went to the premium line got to bypass the masses and went to the counter to check-in. You say get to the kiosks, was there no option to go to the counter, it seems weird that in DEN there wouldn't be an option for the counter with a premium line.

In DEN every counter has two kiosks in front of it.
