Snowboard bags
 
Am I right in thinking a snowboard bag counts as a normal checked piece of luggage as long as it fits within the weight restriction?

Correct. I will be checking a snowboard bag on Friday so if I experience anything otherwise I will report back.

Yes, no extra charge. You can also check a boot bag with it and it will only count as 1 checked bag total
