A320 seating
Hello,
I bought a ClassicPLus fare from DEN to CAK oneway on an A-320. I chose 12A. Is there plenty of space on Frontier's A-320s in the exit row or should I choose their E+ section instead? On seat guru it looks like a good choice. Also, with this fare it says that their television is included. Do they give you a code to put in at check-in. Thanks for any information. I have only flown United, American, USAirways, and Continental domestically and I am unsure of what to expect with Frontier seating/service with ClassicPlus fare. |

The leg room in exit row is pretty much comparable to what you'll find in the Stretch section (rows 1-4) on the Airbus. Not positive if it is exaclty the same, but I'm 6'3" and don't notice the difference in leg room.
The TV's are activiated by swiping a credit card. An F/A comes through the cabin to swipe an activation card for anyone with free TV early in the trip. There are a few reasons you may want to select a seat in the Stretch section (rows 1-4) anyway, even though the legroom is about the same in exit row: (a) In the event of an aircraft change, the row number which is exit will change and you'll find you're no longer in exit. But rows 1-4 are Stretch on all aircraft types so you'll never be out of luck with an assignment in row 1-4. (b) Exit row is open for just about anyone at check in, and it often fills up. Stretch, however, is only for passengers who buy it, get it by virtue of elite FF status, or get it because every regular coach seat is full. So you probably have a better chance of getting an empty adjacent seat in Stretch. The notable potential downside I can think of with rows 1-4 are that sometimes overhead space is at a premium because row 1 has no underseat storage at all, and sometimes crew bags or safety equipment are already up there. You'll board early as Classic Plus, but if you're back in Exit row you'll have no big competition back there when you get on first. One last thing to know. Once you ahve booked, the Frontier web site does not allow you to change seat assignment until check in. So if youv'e already booked and would like to change, it means a phone call. |

Thanks for the information. It will be interesting to try out Frontier.
