Ascent Question
 

If you are an Ascent or Summit member, and you are traveling with people who are NOT Ascent/Summit, does your whole group use the dedicated A/S lines for check-in and security? I will do this for check-in if it's just my immediate family (with no problem), but not security, we all wait in line with everyone else. I have an upcoming flight with a friend who is not A/S. Just curious what others do in this situation. Thanks!

I have never had a problem taking someone else through with me in the elite security line -- I always put my boarding pass (summit) on top. In some cases we are booked on the same itin, while in other cases we are not. Never had any sort of issue.

Generally...and this is just a personal thing with me...I usually don't do this with work associates, just with my SO. We have different last names, however, so TSA wouldn't know who the heck I'm bringing through with me, and it's never been an issue.

Same thing with early boarding at the gate...never had any issue.

I agree with Knope. However, I do bring work associates with me if we're traveling on the same itinerary.

It is acceptable for the Ascent/Summit member and their traveling companions to use the Ascent/Summit check-in lane and security lane at all F9 locations.
