Today is August 1.

Did I miss something or is the long overdue New website still long overdue?

The new website has probably not yet been activated, because it's still being fine-tuned. After all, if they wanted a website with glitches, they certainly didn't need to develop a new one. Looking back, Frontier is probably sorry that they ever promoted the new website with a potential time frame for introduction.

They say that good things are worth waiting for. So, we'll wait...with anticipation.

June, 2012 maybe?

I mostly fly Delta but have a trip on Frontier in September. The seats that my travel department got for me are not very appealing. Since the web site doesn't allow me to view/change seats now, will I be able to do so when I check in on-line 24hrs prior to departure? Reservations line just said 60 minute hold time so I'm not too optimistic about that avenue.

Thanks...

I think you can change seats at OLCI. You will probably have to click on the upgrade STRETCH option and then see if there are any non-STRETCH seats available. Or upgrade, the cost is usually $20-30 and if you are on the E90, you have a chance of getting one of the old US Airways first class seats.

Word is that new website is just about ready to be rolled out...about six months later than previously announced.

Hope it's worth the wait.

Don't be surprised if you are underwhelmed. I hope for the best, but expect nothing more than cosmetic changes at best.

Unless something changed, it is nothing more than a cosmetic overhaul. It has no new functionality.

Frontier has been promising increased functionality. That's the only reason I can see why it's been taking so long.

I hope you are right, but "increased functionality" could mean making the current functionality easier to use. I just hope I can search for AUS-DEN-LAS one day. Currently I can only book that through 3rd parties.

Frontier has made a lot of promises. Most remain unfulfilled on this First day of October.

Indeed. Another month, another inability to change seats on upcoming flights. SSDM, I suppose.

The new home page is back. Other than that, not much different than what we saw some months ago.

They are looking for feedback, with those complying given the chance to win a $250 Fly Bucks card.

Thank you for visiting FrontierAirlines.com. We have launched a limited release of our new website design - and you were selected to be among the first guests to view and use the new design.

Before we complete a full release, we would love to hear what you think. Please keep this survey open in your browser and share your feedback about your experience during or after your visit. The survey will take 2 to 3 minutes to complete.

Please include your email at the end of the survey, to be entered to win a $250 Fly Bucks card that can be used toward the purchase of your next flight on FrontierAirlines.com. One winner will be selected and notified by email each week.

We value your feedback!

I am absolutely shocked that the link you provided worked. I would have thought each entry would require a unique product key to access the survey.

They did the same thing last time they rolled out the new home page.

Website changes - revamped pages and links now running. Will there be more to come?

Many issues with the old site seem to have been addressed.

One new feature is http://www.frontierairlines.com/TodaysPrices.aspx, where calendars display fares by date, as far out as scheule permits (now thru beginning of May 2912). It reminds me of WN's low fare finder.

Ridiculous. The calendar shows a fare of $595.00. Booking it through the website shows $327.00.

mke9499 Oct 7, 2011 8:18 am

There is more than one version of the new website. I have discovered that the website I view depends upon the particular computer I am using. My laptop allows me to view a much more updated website, than my desktop, including the homepage that appears.

I still have access the the new site but I am not quite sure I like it any better than the old / existing one.

Does anyone at Frontier own an iPad or iPhone? The new web site booking form is almost unusable on Safari for iOS devices. :(

Yeah somehow the buttons don't show up at all on my iPad. I sent them feedback when the new site first came out but never heard anything back.

runnigel Oct 18, 2011 11:35 am

This was my first time getting the new website. It looks like nothing other than a face lift and I really don't like that it auto-selects the airport you fly out of. Apparently I'm going to be making a 4 hour drive to fly out of Tucson...

The new website doesn't like gift cards either. Must call in to complete reservation payment manually...

What new website? I've just seen a change in home page colors.

If you do not see the new website and functionality, can you try on another computer or delete temp files and cookies and try again?

It is there, but they might be limiting access.

What new functionality is supposedly available?

Um, new, twitchy rollovers when you try to add "from" and "to" to a reservation. Other than that...nothing.

No ability to change seat assignments before check-in. Still.

FWIW, it's the same old web site with different colors. No new functionality at all.

mke9499 Nov 4, 2011 12:27 pm

There is finally complete fleet information on the website. Seat maps (with the seat maps now color coding the exit rows the same as Stretch), as well as seat info (pitch, width etc), are displayed. There are also notes about limited recline and floor storage for each of the aircraft in the fleet.

Now, they need to have a visible link on the homepage, so visitors to the site are aware that the info is actually there.

I like the "Today's Prices" feature quite a lot... though I found even this morning that the prices it shows are not always accurate, especially when it shows what days have the lowest sale prices. I've found the same lowest price on other days that their calendar showed as higher.

RSVP Nov 4, 2011 4:37 pm

If this is the finished product, consider it a major disappointment.

Very little difference from the previous version.

You know things are getting bad when the offer to win a $250 Fly Bucks card for participating in a critique of the new website has been reduced to $100.

Are you kidding me? They're changing the terms of a promotion that started weeks ago? Do they understand good PR at all?

runnigel Nov 14, 2011 4:08 pm

Odd discovery today. I had set my clock back on my computer 1 year to run a different program. Went to book a flight on F9 and the 2010 calender loaded. Tried to scroll forward to September but the schedule was only loaded through Aug. 11, 2011. Do all websites load dates based off what the computer date is set?
