I am not aware of more than 5-6 gates behind security. Until very recently Southwest had 2 different set of security gates. The only reason they are now behind 1 set is because they cut back the number of gates they are using. This problem with the set-up of security at MCI is, to me, one of the biggest reasons you will never get a major hub player at MCI.

Wow! Its looks so gorgeous new c/s that I can barely see new C-Series. When she will expected to be deliveries to RP sometimes in year of 2013 timelines. I can't wait to see it real soon. Do they think RP will eventually to replacement of A319 or A318 aircraft?

Nice video. I think the wider middle seat will be of comfort to those of us who find ourselves in that seat way too often. I also like the big windows. Looks to be a very comfortable plane.

When will the first plane come off the assembly line? As we say in the IT industry, "this is vaporware" until we actually see the plane flying. I admit, the plane looks awesome!

It's scheduled for 2013, but Republic is due to take delivery beginning in 2015.

That is a long time to wait for an aircraft that has not even been proven yet. I assume Frontier has options for more Airbus Planes? It looks to me the fleet is stretched a little thin right now and having more planes come in should help. I wonder if Republic will take more E190's off of USAir's hands? That plane with the E170 seems to fit the MKE market perfect.

According to Wikipedia (I know, I know), Frontier has 5 more orders for A320's but I'm not sure delivery dates have been set. I've also heard that number may be as high as 8. I wish I could remember where I heard but I thought Republic had some options for new build E170/175/190s so it wouldn't surprise me to see some 175's enter the fleet (BB has said he prefers them over the 170).

I think I did read something about 8 Airbus A/C options for Frontier on airliners.net. I am not sure if that is true or not. As for the EJets, those options are anybody's guess. I do know that USAir at one time wanted to get rid of all their E190's. I don't know if that is still the case today.

I believe Frontier does have options for 8 more A320's but the lease price is higher than than the other orders of A320's and that is the problem. Republic wants lower prices that compare to other orders of aircraft that Frontier placed while in bankruptcy. The prices of the aircraft are the hold up in acquiring the planes.

I know when Republic launched their E190 program they indicated they had options for 40 new E190's.
