The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM (CST) on August 22, 2005, and ends at 5:00:01 P.M. (CST) on September 30, 2005 ("Entry Period"). Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., twenty-one (21) years of age or older by promotion end date.

How to Enter. Three ways to enter: (A) Visit www.dollar.com, and complete and submit the online registration form; online entries must be received by 5:00:01 PM (CT) on September 30, 2005; limit one (1) online entry per person and per e-mail address, per day. (B) Mail a 3x5 card with you name, full street address, telephone number and e-mail address to "40th Anniversary Sweepstakes", Dollar Rent A Car, Inc., MS 9W1, P.O. Box 35250, Tulsa, OK, 74153-0250; mail-in entries must be received by 5:00:01 P.M. (CT) on 9/30/05. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per person, per day. (C) Receive one (1) automatic entry for each rental vehicle picked up at participating Dollar Rent A Car locations between August 22, 2005, and September 30, 2005. Limit one (1) entry per rental.

Daily Prize: Each Daily Winner selected during the Entry Period (40 in all) will receive a credit posted to a Delta SkyMiles account in the Winner's name with a value of 75,000 miles (Approximate retail value "ARV" $1,500).

Grand Prize: A 2006 Dodge Charger. Color and options are in Sponsor’s discretion. Delivery will be arranged through a dealer in winner’s area. Allow at least up to two (2) weeks for delivery arrangements. Title, taxes, registration, insurance and any other costs of owning and operating the vehicle are winner’s responsibility (ARV $29,000).

Second Place Prize: A trip for four (4) people to Orlando, Florida. Trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation between major airport nearest the winner’s residence and Orlando, Florida (ground transportation may be substituted if winner lives in Orlando area). Winner and guests must travel together on same itinerary. Plus a free minivan rental in Orlando from Dollar Rent A Car for up to five (5) days. Driver must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and meet Dollar Rent A Car renter qualifications, including a valid driver’s license, credit card and insurance. The winner/driver shall be responsible for any additional costs, including refueling expenses and taxes. Plus four (4) nights of hotel accommodations (one room for up to four (4) people) provided by the Orlando Convention & Visitors Bureau. Hotel accommodations and travel arrangements will be subject to availability at time of booking. The entire trip must be completed by September 30, 2006. All reservations are based on availability and must be booked at least thirty (30) days in advance of travel date. Some blackout dates apply (ARV $3,000).
