Recent Transfer Time Experiences?
I'm flying in to Terminal 1 (on UA) on Wednesday and will be connecting to Terminal 2F (AF). Does anyone have any recent experiences on how long I should expect this to take, or any shortcuts to take to make the process as quick as possible? I have a pretty tight connection time (1hr 25mn) but apparently it's legal. I just want to know how fast a sprint I should expect to make.
Note: I'm not checking any luggage... Thanks in advance! Edited to add: I did a search but found items that were either A) too general, or B) super outdated. |
i haven't made a transfer at cdg recently but fly in/out often. the fact that you don't have luggage to collect changes everything. you should have plenty of time.
to transfer you must take a shuttle bus. i forget the bus number, but pay close attention to the signs (e.g. bus #2 misleadingly does not go to terminal 2). here's a tip: try to be toward the front of the line off the plane, since passport control can be slow. if the line is unwieldy, you could gamble and walk around to the other side where there's a second immigration station. it's a gamble though, b/c sometimes only one side is open. |
Great, thanks much!
We'll see how it goes ^ |
