Best Eating Choice at CDG for Quick and Reasonably Price
 

I will have 2 hours at CDG and will want to buy a snack (e.g., small salad).

Any advice as to where?

Terminal 2 has a lot of places to go to. I could not recommend one more than the other. Just stay away from salads, though. What you are getting cannot be called salat, especially the dressing. Stick to more typical french sandwiches with fresh baked baguettes. The ones with smoked ham or cheese are just great. There is one place (I forgot the name) that looks like a bakery, where their products are quite good. They have more than one outlet.

Magexpect is completely on target. Your problem in CDG is not going to be where to eat, but where not to. You will be overloaded with choices.

Chains like La Brioche Dorée and Bonne Journée, believe it or not, sell delicious sandwiches made with fresh (like baked within the past few hours) baguettes. Mmmmmm..... Some common ones are Le thon (tuna salad), poulet (chicken), oeuf et cruidité (egg and raw vegetables), and of jambon (ham). They should run only about 4€ each. These sandwiches taste better than what you find at American chains like Subway or Au Bon Pain, which despite its French moniker, there's nothing French about it.

If they have panini, definitely try that. The french panini are incredibly delicious. I've never been to Italy so I can't compare, but the ones in France are better than any I have had here in the US.
