Driving to Champagne
Hi and thanks for the CDG help! After staying in Paris for a few days, we will be off to the Marriott timeshare near Disney. They are giving us a car for the week, and I wanted feedback about driving in France. We are considering a day trip to Versaille, and a wine region( probably Champagne since I think it's the closest) . Any thoughts about travel to these two spots?? Specific wineries?? Thnks to anyone who can help!

There are plenty of web sites for Champagne. Here a few.

Being close to Disney, it'll be very easy for you to get onto the highway to Reims and the Champagne region. It would be too lengthy to give you the route to follow, but look into this web page to get the right itinerary:

As far as Versailles is concerned, you have to choices: Take the Francilienne south and circle Paris until you get on the highway towards Versailles. Horrendous traffic and not wortwhile but you might enjoy it. Be careful, radar for speed limit are popping up like mushrooms.
The best bet would be to leave the car at the next train station and go by RER to Versailles. It is easy and almost as fast as taking the car. I say almost because if you know the route, you might be a little faster by car. But definitely not worth the hassle.
Take the train at Val d' Europe:

Have a good stay. If you need more info, just drop a PM
