Random test upon arrival at CDG ,?

It's written on the French government web site that tests are done randomly upon arrival in France ?.
Does anyone experienced a random test coming from the US ,? Asia ? A red list country ?

Thank you so much

Not recently. Experienced only once arriving from AMS during spring 21 (all the pax of my flight). But it can happen, at their discretion.

And FYI, there is no more country in red since yesterday :)

Merci Goldorak.
There is an event in France and lot of foreigners are hesitating to come because of this random test and the risk to stay an extra week if they become positive here.

Also does the test prior coming to France is really 48hours or 2 days ?

They need a negative test to come, so the likelihood of being positive 2 days later is low (although of course risk is never 0). But I am sure there are very few random tests done on arrival.

48hrs before flight departure time (1st flight in case of connections).

France is going to remove the test requirement on entry for fully vaxxed pax, whatever the country, in the coming days :tu:

thank you very much

that's a great news. Hopefully that will attract more people to France (Hopefully the US will follow)
On the below link they said that it should be lifted this week
A British Friend is coming next week and would love to save the cost of a test for him and his Family

That's great news!

On the more humorous side of things, when I left for Paris last week with a CVS test time stamped just a few minutes under 48 hours before my flight, the check-in agent at DFW said to me, "You're barely legal. If your flight is delayed by even a few minutes, they won' let you in!" I just looked at her and kept quiet. Truly, even some people who should know better say the stupidest things. My goodness, can you imagine the unmitigated chaos that would result if that really were the rule? And can you imagine the immigration staff at CDG checking Flight Aware (or something) for delayed push-backs? So, as I said, this is the humorous side of things.

Next, they should get rid of that equally silly Green/Orange/Red attestation form that you have to download from the French Embassy's website. Nobody looks at it, not even Verifly (AA's outside docs review contractor).

Random tests were only planned if a flight arrived with a known plague victim and they had to test everyone. I tthink this only happens in China and Australia at the moment.

I flew in December, and no one checked my negative test to enter France (not AA, not Verily, not French authorities upon arrival).

Not that surprised
Also wonder if it was a requirement in December , they seem to change the rules monthly
