CDG AC question re: Terminal 1
 
I am 99% sure I know the answer, but want to make sure:

MrsDallas49er and I are flying home to DFW tomorrow (1/9) on AA 49 out of terminal 2. Daughter (AC member also) and a friend on Iceland Air to DFW out of terminal 1, 2 hours later.

Long story short, I am of the opinion there is no way to get to terminal 1 after clearing passport control in terminal 2. Also not so sure the girls can use terminal 2 at all if leaving out 1.

MrsDallas49er is firmly convinced that the girls can join us in the AC, and then somehow get to terminal 1 without re-clearing passport control to catch their flight.

Anyone have a diffinitive answer one way or the other?

Since this isn't an AA question, but a question about how the terminals at CDG are connected, I'll move this over to the France forum.

It's probably too late but to reach terminal 1 from terminal 2, take the free rail shuttle CDGVAL. It takes about 15 minutes.

You probably found out yesterday that it is not possible for someone without a terminal 2 departure ticket to pass through Immigration/security there. The girls can easily reach terminal 1, but they will not be allowed into the terminal 2 departure zone.
