RER or RoissyBus or Taxi to Opera

Hi,
I'm travelling solo arrive at CDG on Saturday at 10am and have booked a hotel at the W Paris in the Opera area. I'm pretty flexible with mode of transportation but what's the best way to get to the Opera area?

Currently, I'm thinking of using the RoissyBus due to:

1. Location - it's quick walk to the hotel
2. Route - Direct from the airport so less chance of dealing with thief.
3. Included in the Zone 1-5 Visite Pass

Does anyone know if the RoissyBus is popular and if it gets packed oftern?

Alternatively, if the RoissyBus is full or there's a snow storm, I'll take the RER. If there's a delay on RER, I'll just take Uber or a Taxi.

Also, I have a flight a 2pm on Sunday. I'm planning on leaving the hotel at 10am to get to the airport. Is that more than enough time? Is the Opera area busy Sunday morning? Do I need to be worried while waiting for the bus?

If you are traveling alone and staying near Opéra, there is no reason to avoid the Roissybus. The buses sometimes are busy and fill up. There is no way to predict in advance how full a particular bus will be.

The RER is always an option. Taxis, from the official taxi queue, are fixed at 50€ to the Right Bank. There is no easy place for Uber to pickup at CDG making taxis a better choice.

The Zone 1-5 Visite Pass is easy to use but it is not always the most economical option. If you are only staying in Paris overnight, the two day pass is 38.35€.

There is never much traffic in Paris Sunday morning. Leaving the Right bank at 10h for a 14h flight should allow sufficient time.

I always stay in the Opera area and have never thought to use anything other than the RoissyBus because it's so convenient. I've taken it approximately 15-20 times in the past few years - as recently as just a few weeks ago - and never saw it completely fill up.

I took the RoissyBus in the snow last year. It wasn't a big storm but by the time I reached the airport, the snow was accumulating. Maybe the bus went a bit slower than usual but there were no problems.

A few weeks ago, I left the IC LeGrand at 9am on a Saturday morning to take the bus to the airport. The area was very quiet.

Worried? About what?

About pickpockets? If so, no. Just use common sense and you'll be fine.
