Uber for 5 people in Paris
Hi there,
I will spending time in Paris next month and was wondering it is difficult to find Ubers that can fit 5 people? And does LeCab work for getting around Paris spur of the moment or just for pre-scheduled rides? Thanks! |
For just getting around Paris, I would recommend taxis, They will take up to 7 people, there is a 4€ charge for the 5th and each additional passenger. Taxis have access to the bus lanes which will get you to your destination much faster during traffic than can the VTCs; Uber or Lecab. Taxi G7 has an app just like Ubers.
I occasionally use Uber and the half dozen or so cars I have ridden in would not accommodate 5 passengers. I am sure that Uber has cars for 5 if you specify when ordering. I do not, nor does anyone I know, use Lecab. |
1. Good thought on advantage Paris taxis have in being able ti access bus lanes.
2. WHile taxis can take up to 7 people, that limit is only for larger, van-sized taxis, and regular cabs could not take 5 passengers, which is the OP's question. You can order a larger cab using the G7 app described above. 3. Isn't FTer Stimpy a big LeCab fan? |
