Which hotel in Cannes/Nice/Monaco?

I have a wide assortment of points and can stay in IHG, Marriott, Radisson, Starwood, Hyatt, and Hilton.

I know the French Riviera is pretty competitive and I want to lay out some choices I am debating and get your suggestions.

I was looking at the Hyatt's and debating on them, but I wanted to consider all of the choices since I know there may be better hotels here to pick from.

Other than that last hotel Boscolo, each of the hotels you've listed has a master thread in the appropriate hotel chain forum. So I suggest you do your research there. They are all decent hotels. I've stayed in several of them, but I can't make your choice for you.

When are you going? The Martinez is a classic in a great location, but I'm not sure I'd want to be there in high season and especially not during the period around the film festival.

If it's Hyatt Palais de la Méditerranée I would definitely choose this one.

Some Of the reviews for this place on Trip Advisor are just scathing.. Of all the marriott and hyatt hotels in this region none of them seem to get amazing reviews. I guess you cant expect much in France unless its the Vendome,

I too read the reviews of the Marriott & Hyatt Nice properties, and was extremely hesitant regarding my trip last Sept. I ended up going with the Le Meredien and used a combination of Free Nights & Points. My stay coincided with the Ironman competition which took place directly in front of the hotel. Despite the race and crowds I was very pleasantly surprised at the room I was given (I'm only Lifetime Gold) and assumed I'd get a room facing the back alley. My room was on the 6th floor with a full on view of the sea along with a small step out terrace. I'm going back to Nice in May, and didn't hesitate to rebook the same hotel.

I ended up booking the Hyatt Palais de la Méditerranée for 4 nights (transferring UR points to Hyatt) and 2 nights in Cannes at the Marriott (using points before the deval). Going during film festival and hoping the virus issue is better by then!

Curious how your trip went? I'm looking to go in July 2021 and there's a lot of hotel options.
