Need pointer to "what's on in Paris" website
 

I looked in some of the threads in the stickied post. One of them lead to http://www.culture.fr, but that brings back 30+ pages of events for a 3 day period I entered. The results are in French (even when starting from the English site), and I can see no easy way to sort them. So that's not helping me to narrow down what's going on :)

I thought that I'd used similar functionality on another Paris tourism website for a trip I took a few years ago, but I can't track it down. Anyone have a suggestion?

Reason for interest: Hotel availability/prices seem to be significantly different 19/5/2014 - 22/5/2014. I can't determine why. Looks like the French Open starts the following week. No holidays in this period.

May be it is because of D' Days : Designer Days May 19-May 25, 2014.

Thanks, but my impression is that this is a fairly small event.
