Hi, as the title says, I'm planning a weekend to trip to CDG with ny wife, arrive Sat Feb 16 8:30, leave Sun Feb 17 9:30am. Any suggestion on best place to stay for the short trip, what to do, etc.
We enjoy sightseeing, wine, beer, and eating.

Hotel de la Trémoille and 3 days in Paris

That's not a weekend, it's a day. 18th is President's Day. Stay an extra day.

Check out parisbymouth.com you should be able to find something to suit your fancy.

Foodie and Wine type - There is a bar at Frenchie. Frenchie is one of the toughest reservations to get, but you can walk up to the bar first come first served.

Why would anyone that wants to sightsee, drink wine and eat go to Paris?!? :D

I really enjoyed the Park Hyatt Paris Vendome. If you can find a good rate, or have an in with Hyatt, it's a great choice. Only a few blocks to Opera Garnier and the metro.

Frenchie is closed on Saturday as are most of the good restos. Though Spring is open.

What would be a good rate for Paris?

Or the Park Hyatt Paris?

The Best Western Opera d'Antin (http://www.parishoteloperadantin.com/) has good rates, and it is a nice place and very centrally located.
On the other side of the Seine Hotel Cujas Pantheon (http://www.cujas-pantheon-paris-hotel.com/) is also in an excellent location and very reasonably priced.
