I'm sure you'll bring something tasty back from Napa, so you're forgiven

Thanks SO much to everyone who's donated so far!

Where are all of the FTers?! Come on folks - you can support missy and team for this worthy cause. Let's compile a list of how folks can donate painlessly:

Give up the $10 you would spend on Starbucks while waiting in the airport

Donate the coins found under the cushions in the dirty seats on UA (unless the FA got there first!)

Anybody else have suggestions?

And you can easily drop the olives into a Nalgene instead of trying to squeeze them into the neck of a regular water bottle!

Missy,

Is there any way to do company match's and still use the website?

I found out after-the-fact that my company will do a match... but only if I had sent them my check.... and they write one to go with it... they do not work with credit card slips.

I don't think so. Those rules are determined by the individual company, and not the 3-day.

I need to get the paper donation form scanned so those with company match can print it.

Now you'll just have to convince some of your coworkers to donate

On each of our personal pages, there's a link that says something like, "If you cannot donate via the web" that should open a form to print out and mail in with donations.

It probably doesn't help with it after-the-fact, but maybe if you printed the form and presented it with your charge statement, it at leasts demonstrates that you do indeed have proof that you donated?

I added a link directly to that form for each of us.

Ok - the next person that donates $25 or more to Missy's walk I'm happy to send two UA drink chits that I have left over (this would be worth $10 on a flight).

Come on FTers - give up a latte or two to help make the $1800 goal that's needed as of today!!!

I reset my goal amount, so as of right this minute, I need $2670.

And don't forget about lala and owlchick!

I'm convinced that owlchick will give in any day now and just join our team

Thanks for all the kind donations so far. I'm really bad about asking for money or selling stuff, but every dollar you all pledge to all of us is really helpful. I would love to see this become an annual event for Flyertalk. Even if we moved it around year to year. I would be happy to travel to almost anywhere to do this kind of event.

Last year, Missy and I made a pledge to participate in a walking event each month. We ended up in all time zones of the US except for Hawaii and met flyertalkers at all the time zones we traveled to. It was tons of fun (well maybe not the 13th mile).

I'm looking forward to doing some more training walks with Missy and Owlchick and seeing some flyertalkers at the end and at dinner.

For those of you who have emailed me asking what else you can do -- if you are Seattle based or just stopping by and want to get together and walk - let's do it. We can always walk between bars.

All right, I'm going to join the Bodacious Tatas. Looks like I'm the only walker in my company in Seattle!

We need at least one more walker up here so we have an even number of Tatas.

So to speak
