Walk your AS Off - Fundraising for National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society
During the month of May 2021, the team of the french Heavy Metal webzine Les Eternels is taking part in the Walk Your AS Off challenge to raise awareness about axial Spondyloarthritis (AxSpa)
Axial SpA is an inflammatory arthritis where the main symptoms are debilitating pain, fatigue and a loss of range of motion.
Walk Your AS Off is a virtual step challenge and is all about getting active for health, our way. We walk or run a distance of our choice, whilst supporting others who live with axial SpA.
We are raising fund for UK based charity NASS, the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society. NASS is campaigning for better diagnosis (it takes 8 years on average to diagnose someone), working with the NHS to ensure everyone gets effective care or simply support and inform people that have the conditions.
Every penny will make a big difference.
£10 can enable the Helpline team to respond to a call or email and provide guidance and advice to anyone affected by axial SpA (AS).
£25 could help provide a pack of NASS guidebooks for a local axial SpA clinic.
£50 could help the NASS team provide 1:1 welfare and benefits support for someone living with axial SpA
