Victory Ride to Beat Cancer
I hope this is allowed here. Last year I rode to raise funds for cancer research. Many of you were extremely generous and helped me raise $2,500. I am riding again next year and fundraising has already begun. I would LOVE to beat my total from last year. As you may know, I ride in honor of my brother. He was diagnosed at age 50 with Stage 4 colon cancer. It came as a complete surprise since he had zero symptoms and was only caught since he had his first colonoscopy. If you are age 45 or older - PLEASE get a colonoscopy!
My brother is fighting with all his might but the outlook is grim. The five year survival rate is 10%; he's been fighting for 9 months now. I have been riding every single day in training for this ride to honor him and all of your loved ones too.
If you are willing, I humbly ask that you support my efforts - any amount helps.
