San Francisco Aid For Animals needs your help!

When our vet retired some years ago, she co founded SFAFA to help pet owners deal with unexpected extreme expenses for their pets – surgeries, cancer treatments etc. They do amazing work in the bay area, offering grants in aid through veterinarians and veterinary hospitals to people who otherwise would not be able to pay for the unexpected and extreme expenses for their pet. They offer funds through the vet or hospital so it goes towards the bill, it to the individual.
They work with many vets and veterinary hospitals here in the bay area, and offer help for conditions that are treatable and for which the animal is expected to recover. We’ve known Dr. Anne Marie for many years and she’s not only an amazing vet but cares deeply about pet care for those who need help. We’ve been supporting this organization since the day they started, and hope some of you will feel moved to do the same.

OUR MISSION:

San Francisco Aid for Animals is a charitable fund dedicated to keeping companion animals and their families together. Grants provided through local veterinarians help pet guardians with financial hardship deal with urgent, treatable conditions to prevent needless suffering, euthanasia or surrender of their animal companions...

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes, we are a fiscally sponsored project of Community Initiatives, which is a public 501c3 organization recognized by the IRS. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permissible by law.
SFAFA appears to meet FlyerTalk guidelines for listing in FlyerTalk Cares.
