Thumbs up Help a great sports/education not-for-profit win $50K from UA!!

(Thanks to the UA Forum mods for pointing me here)

Over in the UA Forum, we love to grouse about the airline, but it does some great charitable things in Chicago, and now you can help a great not-for-profit group win $50K and business support and LOTS of visibility from United Airlines.

METROsquash (www.METROsquash.org) combines a sports program focussed on squash with after-school tutoring for kids on the South Side of Chicago. Their website will show you that they are in it for the long run, with sound financial support and dedicated volunteers (including my son and his friends).

The United Airlines Impact Award in the BeyondSport program is down to five finalists, including METROsquash. Please go to http://www.beyondsport.org/the-award.../your-vote.php for more info and to vote for METROsquash-Path to Higher Education. If you just want to vote for METROsquash, http://www.beyondsport.org/the-award...te=Submit#vote should do it.

Thanks! and if you are in Chicago 9/25 - 10/3 check out the 2010 US Open squash tournament, mostly in Millenium Park, which will benefit METROsquash and the Chicago Public Schools. http://www.squashinthepark.com
