SVO doesn't seem to be rescheduled yet.

AA is downsizing their operations in JFK and in order to maintain good connections AY needs to adapt to the remaining AA banks.

It still fits with the few early morning flights from major European destinations, although I wonder how many people transfer in HEL from western Europe to JFK...

The earliest AA flight from LAX departs at 6.00 and arrives at JFK in time even for the new earlier departure time for AY6. Connections from SFO or LAS will not work via JFK though, but all current connections will of course be available through ORD.

They could add some codeshares with Jetblue and get additional traffic that way. They've gone outside of Oneworld with Alaska for the west coast, so it's not something I'd think they'd dismiss out of hand.

The new schedule isn't bad as such, actually I like it better than the current one.
I always liked the AY005 departure time, as it allowed you to leave late from HEL to Americas without having to do an European connection. ORD could be an alternative but that one is moved ahead as well. This means that there are no longer any afternoon possibilities to reach most connection airports in USA (i.e. the ones without straight connection from Europe).

Well at least the Premium Lounge is going to be even more calm for "Fivers".

For the connections in US it's good on the outbound but bad on the inbound so 50/50.

No sign yet of operational days of A350 to DXB or added (7th) flights.

Good move from Finnair in response to FlyDubai's route start! Now there are two options (FZ and AY 350) for real business class product on HEL-DXB. I'm just wondering if there is enough demand for 21 weekly flights on the route...? That's a lot of seats to fill.

Pretty sure all Dubai J seats will be waitlisted on 4.6. for the A350, including myself
