What I found interesting was that all the announcements mentioned Finnair and Oneworld, even though this isn't a "pure" Finnair flight, just a codeshare.
I give this route until the end of May. A shame really, but that's the way it goes...

Today it's second day for LED operated by E90's and this means J class is available to LED also.
High demand brings A321's to LED route in April - May 2018 starting tomorrow: Morning departure 10:30 is A321. I don' t remember AYs 321 ever before operated to LED.

From reading the article: Local AY manager wants to increase ICN and open PUS but the latter is "blocked" by KE/OZ.
Also, it takes 32 local FA to keep one daily open. If they have 2 on each flight, they work approximately one longhaul every other day.

Finnair inaugural to Nanjing (NKG) today, the route is planned to be operated year-around, 3x weekly in summer and 2x weekly in winter with A333. They've said that instead of NKG they would like to serve Shanghai (PVG) twice daily but this is currently impossible due the restrictions in the bilaterals and the slot situation at PVG.

WHAT?! AY005/006, or 105/106, have had basically the same schedule for decades, give or take some 10 minutes here and there, ever since AY started direct flights to JFK, so this is big news! I wonder why they did this. And surely they will also need to reschedule SVO, LED, WAW etc?

4 pm departure from JFK is early... sure it is before the rush hour starts, but basically if you're in NY for work you have to stay an extra day if you want to fly back with AY. Also, no need to be in NY so early if meetings only start the following day anyway.
