Lounge access loyalty programs in Finland

I used to travel a lot for business having OWE, Skyteam Gold, SAS Gold etc. Nowadays business travel is limited to Europe but I’ve been contemplating what type of lounge access programs / credit card schemes are available in Finland that would provide occasional access to lounges.

My travels are limited to approx. 10 return trips within Europe annually with Helsinki as hub and destinations e.g. LHR, CPH, ARN, CDG, FRA. So max 20 lounge visits per year.

I’m a Nordea Premium customer and Nordea seems to offer the Nordea Premium MasterCard at 90€ / year with 4 free visits under Priority Pass. Priority Pass charges 30€ per visit otherwise so seems that with the card you get 1 free visit per year. Not sure if this is worth it. Dragon Pass seems to be another option with USD 35 per visit.

Are there any other credit card / loyalty schemes available for Finnish citizens that are worthwhile to consider? OP announced a new program recently but not willing to swap banks.

In your case switch to OP might be clever and get the plat visa. PP wirh unlimited visits with 3 guests. And 2025 no card fee. Consider also moving this thread to one discussing OP matters…

You can get a free DragonPass membership and £24 per visit if this Regus route still works

Alternatively, you can try this - £20 per visit and maybe no membership required

Only the OP Gold is without fee next year, normal fee for OP Plat. The Gold card includes "only" two lounge visits annually.

Some conflicting information about this - my understanding is that OP Plat would be "free" as well for 2025.

I have the same understanding. I have confirmed it with two different advisors from OP, although one can't always be sure that the information they have is correct. With the new taxation for OP bonuses starting in 2026, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd find deals like this a good way to distribute loyalty benefits to customers (without a tax obligation for OP).

Great, thanks! The Regus path worked well. The price is a bit on the high side per visit but nevertheless. :)

Indeed and I confirmed that from the bank.
