Comfort seating with 3 classes
 

I have an classical econometric booking on HEL-SIN, and as Platinum, I was automatically assigned what the system designates a comfort seat. But do comfort seats even exist anymore on planes that have a Premium Economy cabin?

Yes they do.

On the A330 the comfort seats are only on seats D - H. As I have a window seat as my preferred seat in my preferences, I do get auto-assigned just standard window seats in Y on A330's with the new cabin.

It looks like there will be another A350 version as well though (as seen from my upcoming BKK flight) which is not on Aerolopa yet.

EF doesn't show Comfort Seats.

According to MMB, on that high-J config Comfort seats seem to be 32-34 ABC and JKL.

I have a booking for DFW - HEL - SIN (Return) in Premium Economy. I was able to select seats for DFW - HEL - DFW segments but not the HEL - SIN - HEL segments. Anyone has any ideas on how to reserve seats without paying for it? I am OW Emerald (AA Exec Platinum). TIA.

came here to ask similar questions. Flying on Finnair for the first time this July -- with the family - one business class seat (only one available) and three economy class seats. The reservations do not appear linked. I cannot figure out how to select a seat for the business class reservation, paid or otherwise. chatbot no help, call center hung up. For the economy seats I can see how to pay for selecting a seat but wondering if I have to pay if I'm OW Emerald? Or would that not apply since it is a separate reservation?

The Emerald status will only work for the reservation where the Emerald status holder is on, there’s no workaround for that.
