- If you have Covid-19 symptoms (based on self-diagnostic), you can get a test via Omaolo: https://www.omaolo.fi/
- If you are returning to (or entering) Finland less than 14 days before the intended test date, you can apply from FinEntry: https://www.finentry.fi/
- Visit the appointment-free test bus in poorer Helsinki districts. The schedule is available here:

Good news, is this the beginning of the end for Covid19?

Here the delivery rate is 80 000 doses a week. With that rate it takes 100 weeks to vaccinate 80% of population.
sure, delivery rate will change over time, but I wonder if entry restrictions in the future will focus on the incidnce number or a vaccination saturation type of number.
My guess is vaccination wont affect incidence much for a large part of 2021. Actually, it is even likely incidence will go up if people start to relax their attitudes due to vaccination rollout

The norwegian prime minister just said "don't expect to travel for easter, but maybe in the summer".

With the famous last words of a swedish, calling Norway the last existing soviet memberstate, I guess 2023 is a very good estimation on how quickly they can act!

Maybe UK can use the track-and-trace crowd for this? It'll be like the 350 million a week.

Those more than 10 000 recruited are GPs, nurses, paramedics and pharmacists. Why you think figure is baseless?

The reference to track-and-trace is to examplify that "recruited" and/or "trained" is not the same as effectively working. The track-and-trace program recruited who-knows how many people who then sat idle. With a non-existing training and without any management they had to face the public anger and confusion. There was almost no track-and-tracing going on, despite the huge numbers of recruited and trained.
The "350 million a week" is a reference to the current practice to use irrelevant, misleading or false numbers, repeated ad-nauseam to drive a sentiment with a crowd. The number itself is only veichle. I could be "we are walking 2 billion fotsteps every day - that is how hard at work we are".
This is how I end up taking the figure "1 000 000 inocculations/week starting jan 4" with a bucket of salt.
I did a quick search to find the schedule for this, but all NHS says is "don't call us, we will call you".

Thailand updated their entry requirements. Now person who has received two shots of vaccine must quarantine for 7 nights in Thailand.
Others: 11 nights.
So if this is future that two shots are required for entry (lighter quarantine or lighter restrictions or entry) so when this world is going to open while we still dont know when the first shot of vaccine will be available?
Others: 11 nights.
If you have received a complete dose of an approved coronavirus vaccination latest 14 days before travelling, you are required to have:
- a vaccination certificate (you can check accepted vaccinations from the Royal Thai Embassy’s web site).
- a Certificate of Entry (COE) issued by a Royal Thai Embassy.
- a negative coronavirus RT-PCR test result in English issued earliest 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
- a confirmed hotel booking at an ASQ (Alternate State Quarantine) hotel only for 7 nights at your own expense. You can check a list of ASQ hotels from the local Royal Thai Embassy’s web page.

2 shots plus paperwork plus pcr-test plus quaratine is basically a no-entry rule.
For people in active years, 2 shots will take the rest of 2021. I guess we wont be loghauling this year either.

Phuket will be quarantine free from July and another Thailand tourist destinations from October.
Most Europeans will be vaccinated by then.

Despite several issues so far, the EU is confident that the next three months will prove to be a turning point in the vaccine program.
In total, the commission is expecting 360 million doses of Covid shots between April and June, meaning it is well placed to achieve its target of vaccinating 70% of the adult population before the end of summer.
