I tried to figure out many membership reward points you need to transfer in order to book a return Business class ticket to Rome and JFK. I have tried to find the standard fare. The examples are from March 2023. N.B. The taxes are expensive for BA and KL rewards for JFK flights and cheap for AY. Taxes on SK I have no knowledge.. Please correct if I have done errors.

HEL-JFK with BAEC is is 77.25k (oneway).
AFKL redemptions are completely dynamic and the lowest prices dry up quickly. JFK should be something like 2 * 62k or so when you're lucky.
Update: Ahh, those are not points converted but points needed now vs then?

I really miss double dipping using DC at Stockmann Deli (both Stockmann loyalty card and DC have AY+). And it was not long ago that shiny Amex card gave 2 points (or was it 1,5) for every 1 € spent.
I really have to calculate how much I value Hilton and Bonvoy Gold cards and priority pass and plaza premium.

This is a major downgrade for the centurion card. One of the reasons I upgraded to centurion was the 1.5x points. Now, however, it is possible to receive 40k bonus points after spending 40k on plat, but only 50k bonus after spending 150k on cent. If you "only" spend 100k, no extra points for you.
However, due to recent enhancements, platinum does not have the possibility to book hotels from amex hotel collections. This is something that centurion has, and may be enough to keep me onboard. I already called in to confirm if I get the unused part of my annual fee back if I quit my membership.

Wow, major gutting of the MR program. Having been a member since the 20th century, I think this is the end of a beautiful (=continuously devalued) relation. FFS, when I took out the Hilton AX it was 1FIM =1HH i.e1€=6HH. Now it's 1€=0,8HH.
Useless to pay even the Green card fee for so little. Sad.
Once the Aktia Visa arrives, I can simplify my deck - AX out, AY Nordea MC out, AY Visa in. Backup would remain plain vanilla Nordea Gold MC.
