Well, it's all just speculation at this point from OMAAT, too. AA had announced that their long-term goal would be to move to T5, but this required some time due to capacity constraints. Of course Covid may have changed BA's capacity in the sense that AA will now be able to move to T5. However, the original reason that not all OW airlines were in T5 (not even all BA flights!) was that T5 was at capacity already. I don't think it is very likely that AY wouldn't return to T3 during a year from now.
I maybe an “ernu” but I welcome the move. All/most (?) domestic connections are at T5 and most BA connections are also from T5, so this makes life easier without the T3->T5 transfers.

Is there a lounge open in T2 that Finnair can use, obviously there is no natural OW lounge. I assume some T2 lounges will be opening soon (or recently opened).
Anyone knows is there any lounge for Finnair business passengers at Heathrow 2 ?
I don't know, but I flew from ARN T5 and AY had contracted a lounge there, so I would assume that applies to LHR, too, especially as LHR is an important business destination. ARN T5 and T2 lounges are operated by the same company – does the usual LHR T3 company have any lounges in T2?
