Finnair used to have sapas ten years ago (sapas = Scandinavian tapas). Maybe they took an old sapas recipe but renamed it fapas. What’s next, åapas for Åboland and Åland, hapas for Helsinki flavours or even spapas for Spanish tapas.

Me not. Ålandpärre doesnt know how to make a good pannkaka nor rabarberpie😅 but it is just me.

Saapas would better describe the quality of the meals but it wouldnt appeal to our friends in the north

Seems that white fish has replaced salmon. Wish that when salmon is not in mains they will serve salmon soup which has earlier been tasty.
Reindeer burger should stay longer in the list!

So is the general consensus that the current opening times are a 'soft launch', and are likely to be extended at some point in the future? I don't know whether to have a 3hr layover at HEL or a 55min layover (connecting from LHR to SIN) in April next year - whether or not this lounge is open between 6pm to 11:30pm on a Friday evening is a key consideration as to which option I chose!
