AY has heard our wishes (?). I’m doing a DEL run on 06-07MAY and the updated schedule is HEL-DEL 18:35-06:05 and DEL-HEL 07:50-14:45.

For my April flights, however, the schedule remains unchanged.

(1 h 45 min at DEL seems a bit rushed, but I can't see why it wouldn't be doable. If the transfer desk looks messy, I'll just scribble DT on my BP and proceed to security and go to the gate early...)

Well, AY142 is still an absolute mess and my schedule has not been updated. I'm flying on May 6th as well. Worried about this and would be extremely annoyed if AY does not re-book me in advance. I do not want to get stranded in HEL.

You won´t get stranded in HEL, your problem is AMS. Wich class of service you are traveling? If in J ask for connections inY also, this will give them more options.

Flying AY142 on 16th June. Let’s see for how long this airspace closure remains an issue.

Is there any website to get actual details on this?

Yes flying in J.
There's only 1 other option after the flight I booked to get to AMS that day, which is a KL flight and AY so far is reluctant to book me on that.

Thanks for the advice.

This is the only direct option. But AY is taking all other possible options (if there are any), so did you check all possible connection flights like HEL-WAW-AMS or HEL-FRA-AMS etc.etc.? The connection they put me on was not available at Google flights etc. With a normal search I would been stranded that day in HEL, but AY used flights via CPH and MUC to bring people to TXL.

@quinzinho Today's AY142 arrived 65 minutes behind schedule. Pax to AMS were rerouted on KLM. Hope this helps in planning your flights.

Just for the record AY is not willing to compensate extra costs which I had because of a 4 hour delay on AY142, they just wish that my insurance will cover that costs. They claiming off loading bags for 45 minutes and the different route are the reason for the delay - and both are extraordinary circumstances - so not compensation from the side of AY.

Compensation and duty of care are two different things. What do you mean by "compensate extra costs"?

I had arranged a limousine pick up which I had to pay since I only can cancel it with a charge (due to the time), also I have to rearrange my transport and due to the later arrival (after 20:00 instead of 18:00) I had to pay a "night surcharge" - total I lost about 120€ (80€ for the canceled limousine and 40€ for the night surcharge).

Yesterday's AY 141 deviated from the route over Mongolia and China it had been taking recent weeks due to the Pakistani airspace closure and instead flew over Iran, below Pakistan and then eastwards across India.
Unfortunately I see this resulted in a 1.5 hour delay in arrival time which now of course affects AY 142 , scheduled to leave with a 1 hour and 5 minutes delay from BKK.
Wonder why this new route was chosen as over the course of last week it seemed AY was able to manage and limit the delays of the Mongolia-route.
