I heard some rumours that some brand new BMW’s with Finnair logos have been spotted at EFHK and those might have something to do with Lumo’s. Maybe transportation inside the airport or from home/hotel to airport? Have you heard anything?

Interesting discussion here about the program settings. I just hope we all will get over the (un)fair feelings and take the program as it is. Either like it, or not (then there might be a better one available). Everyone's choice.
One more factor they possibly considered was the time you spend with Finnair. Whether you calculate just flight + connection time, or also before- and after-flight airport time (possibly incl. the trip to/from the airport), it brings both qualification criteria pretty close to each other. I'd say it's not only about the benefits you get for the money spent, but also for the time spent. How many €10k / year short-haulers could Finnair afford to lose to satisfy the €20k / year J long-haulers? How many of those long-haulers would find better alternatives than what Lumo offers to them?
To get back to the topic: I'd encourage all current Lumos to challenge the limits of Lumo customer service (e.g. same-day free flight changes). I've had very positive experience with MH as Emerald (and earlier even as Sapphire) - 3 changes requested, 3 changes granted! Not even as a member of their Enrich program.
We know AY wouldn't do this for own Plats, but would they stretch their rules for Lumos?

Agents at HEL apron report that at least two black 7-series BMW's are waiting for Lumos and pick up Lumo customer instead of bus transport from stand.

(it IS a very cool experience - I had it 1-2x when flew F on LX. The only cooler experience when flying was with Copterline on the roof of Linnahall in Tallinn - chopper waiting with rotors turning and an assistant keeping the door open.)

I am slightly surprised people thinks this is super cool. Well, it IS super cool, but I am just thinking about a lot of posts saying people feel awkward when singled out for the purser plat talk. Chatting with purser is embarrasing but being picked up like a head of state is cool

The benchmark would be transiting at CDG as an AF Premiere passenger, you get off the plane and there is someone with your name on a board taking you to a private limo and to the dedicated Premiere lounge, which has a very exclusive feel to it (lots of space, a la carte dining, complimentary spa). As its time to board they again take you in a limo straight to your plane. Security, immigration is a queuless experience within the lounge.
