ZRH F lounge works like that. In ZRH the F lounge has its dedicated security & immigration (downstairs) where you're escorted to and then off to drive to the plane. If it's an F-heavy flight, you might have to put up with a Merc minibus instead of the Porsche or the Merc limo. I understand FRA F is similar.

I was forced to "gate check" my backpack (a small laptop one, fits under the seats just fine) once at Norra bus gates. Showing carry-on policy from the app and my status made no difference.
Frankly I just ripped the baggage tag off my bag. Also the flight was half-full and had plenty of bin space.
Wrote an angry email, got 15k points.

A somewhat overweight darkhaired and bearded (not)gentleman?

As usual, empty promises by Finnair. No BMW ride on tarmac
And also a new frequent flyer recognizion by an id__t male boarding gate officer who refused my hand luggage to be taken into plane and requested it to be checked in at boarding gate. Only one item allowed, no exceptions he said. The same rule did not apply for all customers, he just didn't like my bag. My bag is an old style Rimowa 20X40X53 cm two wheelie weighing exactly 8 kg loaded and the other item is a small computer bag. He said he doesn't care what kind of "next to god frequent flyer card you have" but he has decided that the bag will need to be checked in.
Maybe time to consider switching back to SAS.

A clear case of "Pikku-Hitler" who seems to hate top status members. I'm surprised he isn't a bus driver, they often seem to suffer from this kind of symptoms. I wonder if the AY ambassadors here at FT could gather, via PM, more detailed info and pass it on to AY as his behaviour seems to be consistent.
Does he only work for Norra?

If I run in to this particular "gentleman" in my travels I will be ready to get his picture with my phone and forward to AY. If I am not in a hurry, I will stand my ground and let him deny me boarding. Then he will be very easy to identify.

Maybe not that, but some anger management course might help. I do not think AY would not listen to their top tier members being treated inappropriate and humiliating ways.

Hard to say. After one incident, I'd have a discussion with my employee. But after three similar incidents, I could not afford to keep him at the same position anymore. I would try to find him a back office position where possible.

Summer gift time again. The Gold gift cards of course are not summer gifts (but standard Lumo benefits). Selection of 1 item free of charge. Item values seem to be around 150 euros.

Thank you. Been following your very informative discussions in here for quite some time but only now I am also trying to give some contribution back to the forum.
Still learning to use forum properly so advanced apologies for my highly likely rookie mistakes while posting... It seems anyway that I will need at least five post before i can even adding some photos in here.

This may have been already discussed in here earlier but any idea what to possibly expect in such a event? Never been invited to anything similar before. Anyway there seems to be something arranged by Finnair in conjunction with SuomiAreena in Pori, Finland. Those of you interested in the event there is English webpage available where to find general information about this public debate forum. After brief search I could not find any Finnair related information though.

Maybe time to consider switching back to SAS.

To be honeat I could always fit all of them in one but don’t want to get the shirts wrinkled and laptop bag is more quickly in use if not inside other bag.
Maybe next time I’ll go with four...
