"Comfort" is used to describe and refer to business class on AY SH (Intra-Europe) flights. Should be nothing worry about.

I'd say:

"Comfort" is used RANDOMLY to describe and refer to business class on AY SH (Intra-Europe) flights. However, in most cases they refer to it as business class.

I did it once thanks to an AAdvantage award, MCO-ORD-MAD-HEL with 2h layover at MAD. You are absolutely right about the schedule, east bound works occasionally but never westbound.

AA agent at MCO was confused about the rounting commenting that people usually don't fly to HEL that way.

Thanks. All now sorted and it does appear to be business class still!

This is what confused me! When making the flight changes only some but not all of the legs had changed to 'Comfort' but overall it still said 'Business'. It just seemed a bit random.

Maybe it's AY's way to manage expectations on the hard product, as the Euro-J is nothing to brag about
