Taste was ok, almost goodish.
But there was far too much carrots and far to little of the advertised stuff
It was something called Salmon gratin. The 1% smoked salmon did not really influence the dish IRL

I suppose this is good news. At least in the beginning, you'd imagine Fazer wants to show its best sides. And I guess any change is welcome at least in the Schengen lounge.
As for the quality of Fazer/Amica school cafeterias, it's definitely better than eg. Palmia and if the school is willing to pay, the food is actually rather good. A couple of times, I've had lunch at a state bureau that has outsourced their cafeteria to Amica, and their offerings are fine.
What I do miss is a AY service desk in the lounge.

Sitting in the Schengen lounge and looking at the food selection I have the feeling that as Fazer is anyway taking over soon, they've even given up trying...

I was just about to write the same but you beat me to it. I've visited the Schengen lounge last Monday, Friday and today in the afternoons and the offering has been completely identifical each day. Even the dessert / cookies / crisps have been the same in addition to warm main / salads. So that meant lot of beef stroganoff and pulla as dessert for me!
But seriously, looking forward for the change.

But if after your visit they'd still have trouble getting rid off all their "fruit salads", I can offer them my address for delivery and can take the problemm off their shoulder
